Hi Everybody
Im building a boat loader for my landcruiser and have got to the stage of purchasing the ropes, would anybody who has one know what thickness the rope is and how long the rope is

will it be motorised or manual lift ?
if using a manual system you should use at least a double or 3 -1 purchase .
rope size would be 8 to 10mmm to save on the hands (and wear gloves.)
length depends on the drop from top of the loader to the ground and the travel distance across the loader allowing for the double or triple purchase system.
without seeing how your system is designed it is a little hard to be more precise.

Hi,
Wouldnt it be lovely if some one could come up with a lightweight boat loader that doubles as a lightweight trailer. Have been meaning to put my mind to it one day when I get through the SWMBO list
